Why did i choose odontolgy

Hi everyone!!

When i was a child  i wanted to be a cashier, i played with an adding machine (that my mom gave me) and also made money bills, i drew and cut them, i remember that i really enjoyed it.

Since i was 15 years old i knew i wanted to study odontolgy, so that was my first option, but I also thought of studying biology or veterinary medicine, they were all science careers. Finally I decided to study odontology because I wanted to help people, eliminate pain and transform patients lives, build their self confidence by restoring their smiles.

This is my first year at the university and my experience has been great in spite of  online classes. I’m really happy about the fact that I like everything I’m studying, every subject, and that encourages me to keep going. I know it’s just the beginning and it won´t be easy but i know i will not give up.   

And in the future… i would like to have a job where I can develop my potential, promote healthy habits, and be in contact with people that need help, basically a job where I can contribute to the community.
